Getting Started

Setup: Unpack your printer, remove all shipping tape, and install toner cartridges. Connect the printer to your computer or network using USB or Ethernet. Install the printer drivers from the provided disc or download them from the Dell website. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.

Basic Operations: Use the operator panel (touchscreen) to navigate menus, select functions like Copy, Scan, or Fax, and adjust settings. Access advanced features and settings through the Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool by entering the printer's IP address into a web browser.

Printing: Send print jobs from your computer. Options include standard printing, duplex printing, and printing from USB memory. Customize print settings such as paper size, quality, and collating.

Copying: Place documents on the glass or in the DADF. Select copy options like quantity, color, and duplexing on the operator panel.

Scanning: Scan documents to email, PC, network, or USB. Configure scan settings and destinations as needed.

Faxing: Set up fax initial settings. Send faxes manually, from memory, or directly from your computer. Configure receiving options and speed dial settings.
