Ensure power supply is switched off before fitting, servicing, or changing the doorbell.
This fitting must be installed in accordance with the current edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.
Installation Instructions
Switch off the electricity at the fuse box before proceeding with the installation.
Remove the front cover of the doorbell by removing the screw underneath.
Mount the back section of the doorbell to the wall using fixing screws.
Connect a 240V supply to the live and neutral terminals.
Connect appropriate bell wire (not supplied) to the unbiased terminals inside the doorbell (see diagram), and route to the position of the bell push.
Remove the front cover of the bell push.
Connect the other end of the bell wire to the terminals of the bell push.
Bell push seal must be fitted to the rear of the bell push, with the cable routed through "+" shaped slot. Failure to fit this seal will affect the guarantee.
Secure the bell push in its position.
Replace the front cover of the bell push.
Replace the front cover of the doorbell, and secure in place with the screw.
Switch on the electricity at the fuse box by replacing the relevant fuse or switching on the circuit breaker after completing the installation.
Please note
For longer cable runs, cable with a larger cross sectional area is advised, e.g. 13 strand speaker flex.
