MTD warrants the MTD Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the specified Warranty Period.
Starting the Mower:
- Ensure the area is clear of debris.
- Check fuel and oil levels.
- Stand behind the mower, pull the recoil starter rope slowly until resistance is felt, then pull rapidly.
- Once the engine is running, squeeze the blade control against the upper handle.
- For self-propelled models, squeeze the drive control levers to engage the drive.
Stopping the Mower:
- Release the blade control to stop the engine and blade.
- Release drive control levers to stop self-propelling.
Adjusting Cutting Height:
- Pull the height adjustment lever outward.
- Move lever to the desired cutting height position.
- Release lever towards the deck.
Troubleshooting and error codes
