DEWALT warrants the Product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the Warranty Period.
Starting the Engine: Ensure all controls are released and the gear shift is in neutral. Insert key, turn to START, then RUN once engine starts. Move throttle to FAST for mowing.
Driving: Move gear shift to desired forward or reverse gear. Squeeze drive control against handlebar grip to engage drive. Release to stop.
Engaging Blades: Move throttle to FAST. Squeeze blade control against right handlebar grip. Release to disengage.
Stopping the Engine: Release blade control, turn ignition key to STOP, remove key.
Mowing on Slopes: Use extreme caution. Mow across slopes, not up/down. Do not exceed 15 degrees. Maintain control at all times. If you feel uneasy, do not mow.
Mulching: Do not mulch wet grass or grass more than 1/3 the total height. Maintain slow ground speed.

1. Move throttle/choke control out of CHOKE position. 2. Connect spark plug wire(s). 3. Clean fuel line; fill tank with clean, fresh gasoline and replace fuel filter. 4. Clear vent or replace cap if damaged. 5. Drain fuel tank. Refill with clean, fresh gasoline. 6. Replace air cleaner paper element. Refer to Engine Operator's Manual. |

1. Place throttle in FAST (rabbit) position. 2. Do not mulch when grass is wet. 3. Mow once at a high cutting height, then mow again at desired height or make a narrower cutting swath. 4. Sharpen or replace blade. |
