DEWALT offers a one-year warranty covering defects due to faulty materials or workmanship.

To operate the DC500 vacuum cleaner: plug into mains power or insert a charged battery pack. Use the on/off switch (1) to turn the tool on (position I) or off (position 0). For vacuuming, connect the hose (10) to the vacuum inlet (5) and select an accessory. For blowing, connect the hose (10) to the blow outlet (6) and select an accessory. The tool automatically switches between AC (mains) and DC (battery) power. Ensure the dust filter is in place for normal operation. The tool can also function as a dust collector with the supplied adaptor. Empty and clean the tank regularly, especially when switching between wet and dry substances. Clean the dust filter after each use.
