Operation Summary
This cordless drill is designed for driving and loosening screws, as well as drilling into wood, metal, and plastic. Key operations include:
- Battery Charging: Charge the Li-Ion battery using the provided charger until the indicator light turns green. Allow the battery to cool if it becomes too hot.
- Installing/Removing Battery: Press the release button to remove the battery and slide the charged battery onto the tool until it clicks.
- Chuck Operation: Open the chuck jaws by rotating the front section in one direction, insert the bit, and rotate in the other direction to secure.
- Variable Speed and Torque: Use the on/off switch for variable speed control and the torque adjustment ring for setting the appropriate force for driving screws.
- Direction Control: Use the forward/reverse switch to change the rotation direction. Lock the switch in the off position for safety.
- Drilling: For hard surfaces, use a center punch. Apply firm but not excessive pressure. Use appropriate drill bits (tungsten carbide for masonry, HSS for metal).
Troubleshooting and error codes
