Manual for SDAB1

Turn on the radio:

1. Ensure the On/Off Switch is in the 'On' position (located in the battery compartment).
2. For first use, crank the Charging Crank a few times to wake the device.
3. Short press the Power Button to switch between On and Standby Mode (displays time, date, battery).
4. Long press the Power Button to turn off the radio.

Set the time/date:

1. Press MENU, navigate to 'System' using the UP/DOWN Lever, and select.
2. Select 'Time', then 'Set Time/Date' for manual setup.
3. Use the UP/DOWN Lever to change numbers and select. Press BACK to return.
4. Alternatively, select 'Auto update'.

Tune the radio:

1. Extend the antenna for better signal.
2. Use the DAB/FM/Bluetooth Button to switch modes (DAB or FM).
3. Press AUTOTUNE for a quick scan.
4. For a full scan, press MENU, then 'Full Scan'.
5. For manual tuning, press MENU, then 'Manual Tune'.
6. Use the UP/DOWN Lever to scroll and press the center to select a station.
7. Remove stations with a '?' by pressing MENU, then 'Prune', then 'Yes'.

Saving Stations:

1. Find and tune to the desired station.
2. Press and hold PRESET for 2 seconds ('Preset Store' will appear).
3. Use the UP/DOWN Lever to choose a save location and press to save.

Connecting via Bluetooth:

1. Press the DAB/FM/Bluetooth Button to enter Bluetooth Mode.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your device and connect to 'Duronic'.
3. Play music from your device through the radio.

Sound quality:

• Adjust volume with Volume Buttons (+/-) from 0 to 32.
• Access 7 equaliser modes via MENU > 'System' > 'Equaliser'.
• DRC function can be adjusted via MENU > 'DRC'.

Sleep Function:

• Set automatic standby via MENU > 'System' > 'Sleep' (15-90 mins).
• Select 'Sleep off' to disable.

Wake-up Timer:

• Set a programmed wake-up time via MENU > 'System' > 'Wake-up timer'.
• Enable, set time, choose DAB/FM, select 'Last Listened', and set volume.
• Disable via MENU > 'System' > 'Wake-up timer' > 'Disable'.

Announcements:

• Activate via MENU > 'Announcement' (options: 'Off', 'On', 'No TA', 'Only TA').

Display Settings (Backlight):

• Access via MENU > 'System' > 'Backlight'.
• Set Timeout (10-180s) or 'On' for continuous backlight.
• Adjust brightness ('On level' or 'Dim level') to High, Medium, or Low.

Contrast:

• Adjust LCD contrast via MENU > 'System' > 'Contrast' using the UP/DOWN Lever.

Factory Reset:

• Reset via MENU > 'System' > 'Factory Reset' > 'Yes'.

Torch:

• Press Torch On/Off Button to cycle through Bulb 1, Bulb 2, Both, Off.

SOS Feature:

• Press SOS Button for flashing red light and siren.

Charging:

• Radio has a rechargeable battery; access compartment at the bottom. 3 AAA slots available.
• Charge via USB-C, hand crank, or solar panel. Red indicator light shows when charging. Radio won't work on low charge.

Output Charging:

• Use radio as a power outlet via USB-A port. Display shows 'OUT'. Device should charge automatically.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

• Ensure radio is off. Wipe exterior with a damp, wrung cloth.

Storage:

• Fold antenna and crank. Turn radio off at the battery compartment switch to extend battery life. Store in a dry location.
