Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air conditioner does not start. Plug is not inserted into socket. Insert plug fully into the socket.
Circuit breaker has tripped. Press the RESET button.
Fuse has blown, or circuit breaker in the fuse box has tripped. Replace fuse with a time-delay type, or reset the main switch.
Air conditioner is switched OFF. Switch air conditioner ON and select the desired setting.
P1 is displayed. Drain water from the air conditioner as described in the Draining section.
Air conditioner is switched OFF in heating mode. When the air outlet exceeds 70 °C (158 °F), the automatic heat protection is activated. Remove any blockages and allow the unit to cool down.
Room temperature is lower than the set temperature (cooling mode). Reset the temperature.
Room temperature is higher than the set temperature (heating mode). Reset the temperature.
Air from the unit feels not cool enough. Room temperature is below 16 °C (60 °F). The air conditioner will not cool until the room temperature rises above 16 °C (60 °F).
The temperature is set too high. Set a lower temperature.
Air louvers are incorrectly directed. Direct the louvers for better air distribution.
The front of the unit is blocked by curtains, blinds, furniture, etc. Remove any blockages from the front of the unit.
Doors, windows, vents, etc. are open. Close doors, windows, vents, etc.
The unit has recently been turned on in a warm room. Wait a while for the "stored heat" to dissipate from the walls, floor, and furniture.
The air conditioner turns on and off frequently. Dirty air filter - air flow is restricted. Clean the air filter.
It is noisy when the unit is cooling. Air movement noise. This is normal. Select a lower fan setting if it is too loud.
Vibration from an uneven floor. Move or support the unit correctly on a level surface.
The room is too cold. The set temperature is too low. Increase the set temperature.
The room is too warm. The set temperature is too high. Lower the setting.
