Turning on the appliance: Connect the power cord. A buzzer will sound and the power indicator will flash. Press the power control button; the buzzer sounds, the power indicator lights up, and the cooktop is in standby mode.
Selecting a function (ETD29PKB, ETD29PKR): In standby mode, press the KEEP WARM or HOT POT button to enter function mode. The cooktop starts heating when the buzzer sounds and the power indicator lights up.
Selecting a function (ETD29KC): In standby mode, press the '+' or '-' button to enter heating mode. The cooktop starts heating when the buzzer sounds and the power indicator lights up.
Setting the timer: Press the timer control button while heating. The LED display will flash '0:30'. Adjust time by pressing '+' or '-'. The timer range is 30 minutes to 3 hours. The appliance will automatically switch off when the timer is completed. For safety, if no time is set, it defaults to 2 hours.
Locking the appliance: Press both '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously. To unlock, press and hold them for 3 seconds.
Turning off the appliance: Press the power control button. The fan will run to cool down the cooktop.

| Code of failure. E3, E6 | Wait a few minutes for the temperature of the appliance to become normal. Press the power control button and the induction cooktop will operate as usual. |
| E7, E8 | Wait a few minutes. When the voltage is back to normal, the induction cooktop will operate as usual. |
