To install the cooktop: Visually inspect for damage and ensure screws are tight. Install retainer brackets according to local codes. Set the cooktop into the countertop cutout, ensuring it's centered using nylon spacers to prevent excess heat buildup. Do not use caulking compound. For granite countertops, an installation kit may be required. Refer to the Use and Care Guide for operation checks.
