Cooktop Turns Off While Cooking Cooktop internal heat sensor detected high temperatures. Ensure appliance vent holes are not blocked. (Refer to Installation Instructions).
Fluids spilled or object on controls area. Clean spills or remove object. Repower cooktop.
Surface Element Does Not Heat No power to appliance. Check/reset breaker or replace fuse. Address circuit overload or improper connection with a qualified electrician.
Too low heat setting. Turn control to a slightly higher setting.
Incorrect control is ON. Use the correct control for the element needed.
Cooking Zone Does Not Heat Food (Induction Elements) No cookware or incorrect material type. Use induction-compatible cookware.
Cookware bottom not large enough. Ensure cookware size meets requirements.
Cookware is warped or in poor condition. Use flat, undamaged cookware.
Cookware not centered. Center cookware on the zone.
Cookware not resting completely on surface. Ensure cookware is fully on the cooking zone.
No power to appliance. Check "Entire cooktop does not operate" steps.
