  • Correct Use: Use only for household utensils suitable for machine washing. Do not put solvents in. Load sharp items with points down or horizontally. Use only dishwasher-specific products. Avoid opening the door during operation. Do not remove dishes mid-cycle. Isolate appliance from power and water after use. Servicing only by authorized personnel.
  • General Safety: Dishwasher detergents can cause burns. Water is not for drinking. Ensure the door is always closed when not in use. Do not sit or stand on the open door.
  • Child Safety: Appliance for adults only. Keep packaging away from children. Keep detergents out of reach. Keep children away when the door is open.
  • Installation: Check for transport damage. Remove all packaging. Electrical and plumbing work by qualified persons. Do not alter specifications. Contact service if cable, hoses, control panel, or plinth are damaged. Do not drill sides of the dishwasher.
  • Control Panel: Familiarize yourself with programme guide, knob, buttons, and indicator lights.
  • First Use: Ensure connections comply with instructions, remove packaging, set water softener, fill salt container with water and salt, and fill rinse aid dispenser.
  • Set Water Softener: Adjust softener to local water hardness manually and electronically. Refer to table for settings.
  • Filling with Dishwasher Salt: Use only dishwasher salt. Fill just before starting a program. Pour 1 litre of water first (only for first use). Fill until container is full. Replace cap securely.
  • Use of Rinse Aid: Use only branded rinse aid. Fill dispenser to 'max' level. Rinse aid is automatically added.
  • Adjusting Rinse Aid Dosage: Use the 6-position selector. Adjust based on drying results. Increase for water drops/lime spots, decrease for sticky streaks.
  • Daily Use: Check salt/rinse aid levels, load dishes, fill detergent, select program, and start.
  • Loading Cutlery and Dishes: Do not wash sponges, cloths, etc. Remove food debris. Soften burnt food. Ensure items do not impede spray arms. Load hollow items facing down. Do not let items overlap. Ensure glasses do not touch. Place small items in cutlery basket. Plastic items may retain water. Load light items securely in the upper basket.
  • Loading the Lower Basket: Designed for saucepans, lids, plates, etc. Arrange large items around the edge.
  • Loading the Upper Basket: Designed for plates, bowls, cups, glasses. Arrange items so water reaches all surfaces. Cup racks for glasses. Taller items can be accommodated by folding up cup racks. Adjust height for large plates.
  • Use of Detergent: Use only dishwasher-specific detergents. Observe manufacturer's dosage and storage recommendations. Using the correct amount reduces pollution. Fill detergent dispenser (1) to indicated levels. Use prewash chamber (2) for programs with prewash.
  • Detergent Tablets: Dissolve at different rates. Use long washing programs for effective cleaning. Combi tablets combine functions. Check suitability for water hardness. Select lowest water hardness and rinse aid settings. Place tablet in dispenser (1).
  • Select and Start Washing Programme: Check loading, water tap, and close door. Turn programme knob to desired programme. Press start/cancel button. Indicator lights show progress. Cannot change selection mid-program. Use 'delay start' to delay by 3 hours.
  • Interrupt/Cancel Programme: Interrupt by opening door (will restart when closed). Cancel by pressing start/cancel for 5 seconds.
  • End of Programme: Appliance stops automatically. 'End of programme' light illuminates. Switch off by turning knob to 'Off'. Open door, leave ajar for a few minutes for better drying.
  • Unloading Dishwasher: Allow dishes to cool. Empty lower basket first.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Potential Cause Solutions
The wash results are not satisfactory The dishes are not clean
  • The wrong washing programme has been selected.
  • The dishes are arranged in such a way as to stop water reaching all parts of the surface. The baskets must not be overloaded.
  • The spray arms do not rotate freely due to incorrect arrangement of the load.
  • The filters in the base of the washing compartment are dirty or incorrectly positioned.
  • Too little or no detergent has been used.
  • Where there are limescales deposits on the dishes; the salt container is empty or the incorrect level of the water softener has been set.
  • The drain hose connection is not correct.
  • The salt container cap is not properly closed.
The dishes are wet and dull
  • Rinse aid was not used.
  • The rinse aid dispenser is empty.
There are streaks, milky spots or a bluish coating on glasses and dishes
  • Decrease rinse aid dosing.
Water drops have dries onto glasses and dishes
  • Increase rinse aid dosing.
  • The detergent may be the cause. Contact the detergent manufacturer's consumer care line.
