Before Starting

1. Check s-bag™ is in place. 2. Insert hose until catch clicks. 3. Attach telescopic tube to hose handle and floor nozzle. 4. Extend cable and connect to mains. 5. Move switch-on foot pedal forwards for free cable movement, backwards to lock. 6. Press on/off button to start. 7. Adjust suction power using controls on vacuum or handle. 8. Press +/- buttons to adjust suction (ensure batteries are inserted).

Getting the Best Results

- Hard floors: Use carpet/hard floor nozzle (lever position 1). - Carpets: Use carpet/hard floor nozzle (lever position 2), reduce suction for small carpets. - Wooden floors: Use parquet nozzle. - Upholstered furniture: Use wide crevice or combination nozzle/brush. - Curtains/light fabrics: Use combination nozzle/brush, reduce suction if needed. - Frames/bookshelves: Use combination nozzle/brush or feather duster. - Crevices/corners: Use crevice nozzle. - Power nozzle: Attach, connect flex, secure cable. Operates when vacuum is on. - Turbo nozzle: Attach, adjust suction via air vent. Avoid use on specific rug types. Do not keep stationary on rotating brush. Do not use on electric cables. Switch off immediately after use.

Using the Back Saver® Tubes

Designed for general cleaning and cleaning under low furniture. Tubes A and B connect for general cleaning. For cleaning under low furniture, adjust tube B and rotate nozzle head. Flexible handle for carrying. Parking position for pauses and storage.

Replacing the S-BAG™/Cleaning the Filter

- Replace S-bag™ when indicator is red or illuminated. - Remove hose, open lid, pull out S-bag™ holder. Insert new bag, close lid. - Replace motor filter (EF54) and charcoal filter (EF28) every 5th S-bag™ replacement. - Replace micro filter (EF17) or non-washable HEPA filter every 5th S-bag™ replacement. - Clean washable HEPA filter (EF26a) by rinsing under warm tap water, allow to dry. Do not use cleaning agents. Replace filter and lid.

Cleaning the Hose and Nozzle. Battery Replacement

- Vacuum stops if nozzle, tube or hose blocked, or overheat indicator blinks. Disconnect, allow to cool, clear blockage, replace filters. - Use cleaning strip or squeeze hose to clear blockages (careful with sharp objects). - Clean carpet/hard floor nozzle using hose handle. - Power nozzle: Disconnect, remove threads. Remove cover, brush cylinder, bearings, wheels. Replace cover securely. - Turbo nozzle: Disconnect, remove threads. Clean with hose handle. - Battery replacement: Replace batteries in remote handle when flat. Use alkaline batteries. Do not discard batteries with household waste.
