Warranty Information

Electrolux vacuum cleaner warranted free from defects in material and workmanship for five years for normal household use.

Before First Use: Unpack all contents and check against the "Components and Accessories" list. Ensure the dust cup and foam filter are in place. Plug in the vacuum cleaner.
Basic Operation: Attach the desired nozzle or tool. Turn the vacuum cleaner ON using the button on the canister. Adjust suction power using the knob on the canister. Turn OFF and unplug when finished.
Special Features: The telescopic wand and hose can be adjusted for comfort. The Power Nozzle has an adjustable height for different carpet types. The "Brushroll Clean" feature helps maintain the brushroll.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
The vacuum cleaner does not start 1. Plug not securely in outlet. 1. Push plug securely into outlet.

4. Air path obstruction. 4. Replace filter or remove air path obstruction.
The brushroll stops spinning 1. Obstruction. 1. Remove obstruction (e.g., carpet fringe, string, sock). See page 9.
2. Power off. 2. Turn power back on.
3. Brushroll button not engaged. 3. Make sure brushroll button is in ON (I) position and turn power back on.
The Brushroll Clean feature does not clean the brushroll 1. Threads/debris on brushroll. 1. Check brushroll for threads and debris: clean if needed.
2. Incorrect setting. 2. Run the Power Nozzle on carpet on low height setting between cleaning cycles.
Brushroll stops while using the Brushroll Clean feature 1. Incorrect surface. 1. Move the Power Nozzle to bare floor surface.
2. Incorrect height setting. 2. Adjust the height to the highest setting.
3. Power Nozzle not reset. 3. Turn Power Nozzle off to reset.
Clearing the hose Obstruction. Remove any obstruction that restricts airflow through hose. See page 12.
Water has entered the vacuum cleaner Motor damaged. It will be necessary to replace the motor at an authorized Electrolux service center. Damage to the motor caused by the penetration of water is not covered by the warranty.
