Loading Washing: Open lid, depress button A to unlock shutters, load laundry, close drum and lid. Ensure drum is properly closed before closing lid. Detergents: Pour powder into washing and prewash compartments if selected. Add softener to compartment & if needed. Programme Selection: Turn programme selector to desired programme. "Start/Pause" flashes green. Temperature/Spin: Select temperature by pressing the "Temperature" button. Select spin speed using the spin speed selector. Options: Select options after programme and before pressing "Start/Pause". Starting: Press "Start/Pause" to begin. Light turns green. Interrupting: Press "Start/Pause" to pause; light flashes green. Wait for drum to stop (approx. 2 mins) to open lid. Press "Start/Pause" again to resume. Modifying/Cancelling: Pause first. If modification not possible, "Start/Pause" flashes red. To cancel, turn selector to "Stop". End of Programme: Machine stops, "Start/Pause" light goes out, "End of cycle" light comes on. Wait for lid to unlock (approx. 2 mins), turn selector to "Stop", remove laundry, unplug, and close tap.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problems Causes
The washing machine doesn't start or doesn't fill: • appliance isn't plugged in correctly, electrical installation isn't working, power failure.
• lid and drum shutters aren't closed firmly.
• programme start command not selected properly.
• water supply cut off, water inlet tap closed.
• water inlet filters dirty.
• red tab on water inlet hose.
The appliance fills but empties straight away: • drainage U-piece fixed too low (see installation section).
The washing machine doesn't rinse or doesn't empty: • drain hose blocked or bent.
• object trap obstructed.
• out of balance detector activated (uneven wash).
• "Drain" programme, "Night Silence Plus” or “Rinse hold” selected.
• height of drainage U-piece unsuitable.
You have found water around the washing machine: • too much detergent (foam overflow).
• unsuitable detergent.
• drainage U-piece not attached correctly.
• water inlet hose leaking.
Wash is unsatisfactory: • unsuitable detergent.
• too much washing in drum.
• unsuitable wash cycle.
• not enough detergent.
The appliance vibrates, is noisy: • packaging not removed (see installation section).
• appliance isn't level/balanced.
• appliance too close to wall/furniture.
• uneven wash distribution, load too small.
• appliance in running-in period.
The wash cycle is much too long: • water inlet filters dirty.
• power or water supply cut off.
• motor overheating detector activated.
• water inlet temperature lower than usual.
• foam detection security activated (draining foam).
• out of balance detector activated (redistributing wash).
The washing machine stops during a wash cycle: • water or electricity supply defective.
• "Rinse hold" selected.
• drum shutters open.
The lid doesn't open at the end of the cycle: • temperature inside drum too high.
• lid unlocks 1-2 minutes after cycle end.
• you have gone past the MAX indicator.
Softener runs directly into the drum when filling the dispenser box: • you have gone past the MAX indicator.
The "Start/Pause" pushbutton flashes red: • lid not closed properly.
• object trap obstructed.
• drain hose blocked or bent.
• drain hose fixed too high (see Installation section).
• drainage pump blocked.
• standpipes blocked.
• water tap closed, water supply cut off.
