Getting Started:
- Opening Your Computer: Slide latches forward and lift the screen.
- Powering Your Computer: Use the charged battery or AC adapter.
- Connecting the AC Power Adapter: Plug DC-in port and then into an outlet.
- Turning On/Off: Press button to turn on; press and hold for two seconds to turn off.
- Indicator Lights: Provide information about computer status.
- Screen Controls: Adjust contrast and brightness at the bottom of the screen.
- ActionPoint Touchpad: Use finger to move cursor, tap to click, double-tap to select/drag.
- Keyboard: 85 keys, includes Fn key for special functions and embedded numeric keypad.
- Creating Software Diskettes: Use utilities to create program diskettes.
Powering the Computer:
- Using AC Power Adapter: Charges battery and runs computer from outlet.
- Using the Battery: Provides 4-6 hours of power; battery life depends on usage.
- Recharging the Battery: Takes about 2-3 hours.
- Replacing the Battery: Keep additional batteries charged for travel.
