The S1D10605 Series are single-chip dot-matrix LCD drivers that connect directly to a microprocessor bus. They store display data in internal RAM and generate LCD drive signals independently. These chips offer high display freedom due to the 1-to-1 correspondence between display RAM bits and LCD pixels. They feature an 8-bit MPU interface (parallel or serial), abundant command functions, and a low-power liquid crystal driver power supply. The chips minimize power consumption by not requiring an external clock for RAM read/write operations.
