Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No image appears Check that the USB cable is connected properly and that the power indicator is on.
The image is out of focus Make sure that the document (subject of the image) is not too close to the camera lens. The auto focus may not be able to focus in the following situations:
  • Subject matter has low contrast between light and dark areas
  • Subject matter has repeated detailed patterns, such as horizontal stripes and checkered patterns
  • Image is dark overall
  • Subject matter has a bright background
