Safety Precautions
WARNING:
Never attempt to repair this product yourself. Improper repair work can be dangerous.
Never disassemble or modify this product. Tampering with this product may result in injury, fire, or shock.
Do not allow foreign matter to fall into the equipment. Penetration by foreign objects may lead to fire.
Do not use aerosol sprayers containing flammable gas inside or around this product. Doing so may cause fire.
CAUTION:
Do not place heavy objects on this product. Never stand or lean on this product. It may cause breakage and possible injury.
Do not inflict a strong impact by dropping the unit or treating it roughly. A glass panel may break, and it may cause injury.
Do not place this product in high temperature or high humidity, and never allow condensation on this product. Problems could occur such as malfunction or poor display quality.
The rotating angle of the display is limited by a stopper. Do not apply excess force to rotate it past the limit set by the stopper. Doing so may cause damage.
Take care when handling the display not to knock it because it has a built-in liquid crystal display.
Unpacking
The following items are included with the standard specification display.
If any item is damaged, contact your dealer.
- DM-D310F
- Ferrite core (large)
- Base plate
- DM-D stand
- Ferrite core (small)
Assembling the DM-D310F
- Pass the cable of the DM-D310F through the DM-D stand, as shown in the illustration below.
- Insert the pole of the DM-D310F into the hole in the DM-D stand, aligning the projection on the pole with the wider side of the groove in the inside of the pole of the DM-D stand (indicated in the semicircular arrow in the illustration below), and push it until it clicks into place.
Note: After installing the DM-D310F, check whether the display turns 180 degrees. If not, make sure the projection on the DM-D310 is set in the wider side of the groove in the DM-D stand.
- Pass the cable through the hole in the ferrite core, and wrap the cable once around the ferrite core.
- Attach the base plate to the DM-D stand following the numbered arrows shown below, and push the base plate until it is locked by the hooks on the DM-D stand.
- Connect the cable of the DM-D310F to the connector on the TM printer.
- Attach the ferrite core (small) to the cable of the DM-D310F at the position shown below.
