Basic Operations

Starting and Ending Projection

  • Turning on the Projector and Projecting: Press the Power button to turn on the projector. If the target image is not projected correctly, follow troubleshooting steps.
  • Turning Off: Press the Power button to turn off the projector.

Adjusting the Projected Screen

  • Displaying the Test Pattern: Use the test pattern to aid in adjusting the image.
  • Adjusting the Focus: Use the focus ring for a sharp image.
  • Adjusting the Projection Size (Zoom): Use the zoom ring to change the image size.
  • Adjusting the Projector's Tilt: Use the front adjustable foot to adjust the horizontal tilt.
  • Adjusting the Position of the Projected Image (Lens Shift): Use the lens shift dials to move the image up/down and left/right.
  • Correcting Keystone Distortion (H/V-Keystone): Correct distortion if the projector is not parallel to the screen.
  • Adjusting the Volume: Use the Volume buttons.
  • Hiding the Image and Muting the Audio Temporarily: Use the A/V Mute function.

Adjusting the Image

  • Selecting the Projection Quality (Color Mode): Choose from various color modes.
  • Switching the Screen Between Full and Zoom (Aspect): Select the aspect ratio.
  • Absolute Color Adjustments: Adjust Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Gamma, and RGB.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Problems relating to images Check the connection cables, input signal, and image settings.
Problems when projection starts Ensure the projector is powered on and the correct input source is selected. Check the lamp status.
Problems with the remote control Ensure batteries are inserted correctly and there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector.
Problems with the control panel Ensure buttons are not stuck and the control panel is functioning correctly.
Problems with 3D Check 3D settings, compatible 3D format, and 3D glasses.
Problems with HDMI Verify HDMI cable connection and compatibility. Check HDMI Link settings.
Problems with WirelessHD (EH-TW6600W only) Ensure WirelessHD is set to On and check transmission range and settings.
Problems with USB storage devices Check USB device compatibility and connection. Ensure the USB cable is within the recommended length.
