Quick Setup

Before using the projector, read the safety instructions in the online User's Guide.

Connect the projector

Choose from various connection options: Video device (RCA, Component), Mobile media device (MHL), Computer (HDMI).

Connect audio

Use the built-in speaker via HDMI or connect external speakers using an RCA audio cable.

Turn on your equipment

  1. Turn on your video source or computer.
  2. Plug in the projector. The power light turns blue.
  3. Press the power button on the projector or remote control.

Adjust the image

  1. If you don't see an image, press the Source Search button.
  2. Adjust image height by rotating the feet.
  3. Press T (reduce) or W (enlarge) to adjust image size.
  4. Focus the image using the focus lever after opening the air filter cover.

Using the remote control

Install batteries. Use buttons to turn on/off, select source, navigate menus, adjust volume, and access settings.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Blank screen or "No signal" message Status light is not blue or is flashing Make sure the Status light is blue and not flashing.
Incorrect image source selected Press the Source Search button on the projector or remote control to switch to the correct image source.
Incorrect input and settings Press the Home button on the projector or remote control to verify the source input and settings.
Duplicate display not enabled (Windows) On Windows® 7 or later, hold down the Windows key and press P, then click Duplicate.
External monitor not enabled (Windows laptop) Press the function key (e.g., Fn + F7) on your keyboard to display on an external monitor.
Mirror Displays not selected (Mac laptop) Open System Preferences, select Displays, click the Arrangement tab, and select the Mirror Displays checkbox.
