Welcome: Your Epson MovieMate 62 is a portable home cinema system. You can set it up quickly to watch DVDs, play video games, or view photos. It connects to various computers and video sources. Features include flexible setup from 3 to 29.9 feet, 540p DVD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, up to 2000 lumens brightness, microphone input, HDMI interface, built-in DVD player with Dolby Digital and DTS, DTS surround sound speakers, a long-life bulb (up to 5000 hours), and automatic digital keystone correction. It also offers Extra Care Home Service.
Unpacking and Setting Up: Unpack your projector, ensuring all parts are present: projector, remote control with batteries, CD with User's Guide, power cord, and padded bag. Choose a suitable location with a flat white wall or screen. The projector can be set up for front, back, or floor projection. Ensure the projector is positioned directly in front of the screen at a 90-degree angle. The manual provides tables for projection distances based on screen size and aspect ratio. Set up the projector by inserting batteries into the remote control, exposing it to light for glow-in-the-dark buttons. Connect the power cord and plug in the projector. The power light will turn orange.
Playing a DVD: Plug in the projector, insert the DVD into the slot, and the projector powers on automatically. Open the lens cover slide, and your movie will be displayed.
Connecting the Projector: You can connect up to three video devices, a microphone, or a USB flash drive. Connections include HDMI, RCA (composite video), audio, and component video. For computer connections, use the Computer Monitor Port with a VGA cable. If using a notebook, switch to external display.
Turning on your equipment: Turn on your computer or video source. Plug in the projector; the power light turns orange. Open the lens cover slide.
