- Unpack: Remove scanner and protective tape.
- Install Software: Do not connect the USB cable yet. Run the setup from the CD-ROM, select English, click Install, and follow on-screen instructions.
- Connect and Turn On: Connect the USB cable and turn on the scanner.
- Scan a Photo: Click Scan. Wait for the scan to finish, then view your photo in Pictures or My Pictures.
Scan Film/Slides: Insert negatives or slides into the film holder and follow steps in section 4.
Restore Color: Optimize scans with Enhanced Backlight Correction and Digital Dust Removal features via the Customize option in EPSON Scan.
