Warranty Information

Statutory guarantee of 2 years for electric/electronic parts and labor, with potential commercial guarantees.

General Warnings: This appliance is not intended for use by persons with physical, mental, or sensory disabilities, or by individuals lacking experience or knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. This unit can be used by children over 8 years old and individuals with reduced capacities if supervised or instructed on safe use, considering potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance, nor perform cleaning or maintenance without supervision.

Caution: Handle with care as it is a heavy item. Install in a frost-protected room. Ensure the wall can support the weight when full. If the ambient temperature exceeds 35°C, ensure adequate ventilation. In bathrooms, avoid installing in volumes V1 and V2. If installed in a habitable space, use a retention tank with drainage. Ensure easy access. For PER pipes, install a thermostatic regulator. Wall mounting (vertical or horizontal) requires 500mm clearance for element replacement.

Electrical Safety: Disconnect power before removing covers. Installation requires a bipolar disconnect device (30 mA). If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or after-sales service. A safety device is mandatory in non-frost locations (0.7-0.8 MPa, 1/2" cold water inlet). Regularly check the safety device. Do not install hydraulic accessories between the safety valve and cold water inlet. A pressure reducing valve is required if supply pressure exceeds 0.5 MPa (5 bars). Connect the safety device to the outlet tube, with a continuous slope for drainage. Tubes must withstand 1 MPa (10 bars) and 100°C. Never turn on the heater without water. To drain, disconnect power, shut off cold water, open hot water taps, and operate the safety valve.

Installation: Requires proper mounting and hydraulic connection. Electrical connection requires a 220-240V AC supply with a rigid cable (2.5 mm²). Always connect the earth conductor. The installation must include a bipolar disconnect device and, if hydraulic connections are insulated, a 30 mA residual current device.

Maintenance: Monthly operate the safety valve to prevent scaling and check it's not blocked. Qualified personnel should perform descaling and magnesium anode replacement (every 2 years or when diameter < 10 mm). Electric heating element replacement involves draining and gasket replacement. For water hardness > 20°f, use a softener. In case of prolonged absence, drain the appliance. The thermostat is set to limit legionella bacteria growth.

Guarantee: Covered by statutory guarantee in the EU. Commercial guarantee may apply, check with dealer. Exclusions include wear parts, difficult access, abnormal environmental conditions, and incorrect installation or maintenance.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEMSOLUTION
IF THE WATER IS COLD OR LUKEWARMCheck power, breaker ON. Turn off power, check current. Ensure thermostat is not frost-free (pos #1). Increase temp (anti-clockwise, pos #5 max). Re-engage safety device (red button). NOTE: Replace thermostat if safety device resets >10 times.
IF THE WATER IS TOO HOTRepeat actions, lower thermostat setting (clockwise).
LEAK PROBLEM
  • Hot/cold connectors: Reconnect.
  • Nuts under plastic cover: Replace seal.
  • Tank: Corroded, replace heater.
  • Safety valve: Normal drain. Connect to outlet.
LOUD BOILING NOISEDescale heater. Call plumber if persistent. Slight boiling is normal with screened resistances.
