Warranty Summary

The EverStart BC50BE battery charger is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase.
To operate the EverStart MAXX BC50BE Battery Charger, first connect the red clamp to the positive battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative terminal or vehicle chassis as instructed. Plug the charger into an AC outlet. For charging, press the charge button. To use engine start, press the engine start button and wait for the countdown to finish before attempting to start the vehicle. Use the alternator check function to assess alternator condition and the recondition function to optimize battery performance. After charging is complete, the unit automatically enters float charge mode to maintain battery capacity.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Solution
Unit will not charge
  • Make sure all connections are secure.
  • Check that the charger is properly connected to a live 120 volt AC outlet.
  • If the battery to be charged has fallen below 2 volts, the battery cannot be recharged with this charger.
