Loading the Camera:

  1. Remove camera from case.
  2. Raise and turn lock shackles halfway.
  3. Shift camera back and remove it.
  4. Take out take-up reel and magazine.
  5. Load film into magazine in darkness.
  6. Fasten film end to reel.
  7. Fit reel onto bush, align film perforations with sprocket.
  8. Close camera.
  9. Wind shutter twice, pressing release button after each wind, to feed film.

Setting Sensitivity:

  1. Turn dial to set "0" of picture counter.
  2. Align sensitivity dial with film-type indicator.

Focusing:

  1. Adjust dioptric focusing ring for clear viewfinder.
  2. Aim at subject; a double image appears in range-finder.
  3. Turn lens distance ring to align the images.

Exposure Meter:

  1. Set film sensitivity on the scale.
  2. Aim at subject.
  3. Turn shutter speed dial to align galvanometer pointer with fixing pointer.
  4. Read the exposure and diaphragm values at the intersection of the scales.

Taking a Picture:

  1. Set diaphragm and shutter speed.
  2. Aim and smoothly press the release button.

Rewinding Film:

  1. Press disengaging bush and turn towards "B".
  2. Cover lens.
  3. Turn rewinding head in the direction of the arrow.
  4. Open camera and remove magazine.
