Loading the camera: Remove camera from case. Open cover 15, turn lock shackles, shift cover, and remove. Insert film magazine, insert film end into take-up reel. Cock shutter lever 14 to advance film onto teeth of feeding drum. Close cover, turn lock shackles, and lower into recesses. Advance film by cocking shutter twice, pressing release button 4 after each cocking until picture counter 17 shows '1'. Setting exposure: Raise exposure head 11, turn to desired shutter speed on scale 12, and lower. Remember exposure can only be set when shutter is cocked. Focusing: Use eyepiece 20 to frame subject. Adjust diopter ring 8 for clear view. Align split images in view finder by turning distance scale 23 until they merge. Use depth-of-field scale 22 to determine sharpness range for chosen aperture. Shooting: Aim camera, check framing in view finder. Press shutter release button 4 smoothly. For automatic release, cock lever 1 and press button 2. Shutter will fire in about 9 seconds. Flash photography: Set shutter to 1/30s. Select aperture based on film sensitivity, distance, and flash power. Connect flash to clip 6. Note the camera has a cableless connection. Rewinding film: Disconnect shutter mechanism by pressing disconnector sleeve 13 downwards. Rewind film using knob 10. Cover lens with cap while rewinding. Protect film from bright light during rewinding. Reload magazine in reverse order.
