Basic Operation

  • Run/Stop: Press the I/O button to start or stop the unit.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Use the Temp Adj button to increase or decrease the temperature by 1 degree.
  • Fan Speed: Adjust fan speed (Low, Medium, High, Auto) using the Fan Adj button.
  • Sleep Mode: Activate Sleep button for comfortable overnight temperature maintenance.
  • Air Flow Direction: Use Manual Swing (1-5 angles) or Auto Swing buttons. In Dry/Cool mode, positions 4-5 blow downwards for an hour before reverting to horizontal. Manual adjustment of deflectors for left/right airflow is also possible.
  • Mode Adjustment: Select Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, or Heat modes using appropriate buttons. In Auto mode, the unit selects COOL, DRY, or HEAT based on room temperature.
  • Timer Operation: Set start and stop times using the remote control, ensuring the correct time is set first.

Air not immediately blown out at start of Heat mode The unit is processing information and will only blow when sufficiently warm
Indoor unit fan stops for about ten minutes during heating It is defrosting the outdoor unit coil. It should complete this process in about 10 minutes at most. It freezes when outdoor temperature is low and humidity is high.
Unit issues cracking sounds These are friction sounds caused by expansion and contraction of the front panel of the unit resulting from temperature changes
You can hear the sound of running water It may be the sound of expanding refrigerant inside the unit
