Loading the Dishwasher: Prepare dishes by scraping large food particles. Load racks to ensure proper cleaning, with items facing down for drainage. Avoid overloading and ensure items do not block spray arms or the detergent dispenser.
Adding Detergent: Use fresh, automatic dishwasher detergent. The amount depends on water hardness. Refer to the Detergent Usage Chart. Add detergent just before starting the cycle.
Selecting a Cycle: Choose a cycle based on soil level and item type. Options like High Temp, Sanitize, Max Dry, and Heat Dry can be selected to enhance performance.
Starting the Dishwasher: Ensure water supply is on. Press START/CANCEL and close the door.
Adding or Removing Items: Unlatch the door, wait for wash action to stop, add items, wait a few seconds for air to expand, close the door, and press START/CANCEL to resume.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Cause Solution
Food Soils Left on Dishes Improper cycle selection, overloading, dirty glass trap, low water pressure, low incoming water temp, old detergent, blocked spray arms. Select longer cycle, check loading, clean glass trap, check water pressure/temp, use fresh detergent, ensure spray arms rotate.

Dishware Chipped Improper loading, overloading, placing delicate items in bottom rack, not securing items. Load with care, place delicate items in top rack, secure items, move racks slowly.
Dishwasher Won't Fill Water supply off, overfill protector stuck, cycle not completed, items blocking dispenser. Turn on water supply, check overfill protector, ensure cycle complete, ensure items don't block dispenser.
Dishwasher Leaks Door gasket not seated, spilled rinse aid, unit not level. Check door gasket, clean spills, ensure unit is level.
