Getting Started:

  1. Load dishwasher.
  2. Add detergent.
  3. Add rinse aid (if needed).
  4. Select desired cycle.
  5. Select desired option.
  6. Run hot water faucet until 120°F (49°C).
  7. Press START/CANCEL.
  8. Close door to latch.

Key Features & Operations:

  • Wash Cycles: Heavy Wash, Normal Wash, Top Rack, Rinse Only.
  • Options: Hi-Temp Wash, Sanitize, Air Dry, Delay Start.
  • Status Lights: Washing, Drying, Sanitized, Clean.
  • Child Lock: Press and hold AIR DRY pad for 3 seconds (door open).
  • Cancel Cycle: Press and hold START/CANCEL pad for 3 seconds.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Food Soils Left on Dishes Improper loading, low water pressure, incorrect water temperature, hard water, old detergent, blocked spray arms, overloaded, dirty/improperly installed glass trap. Choose longer cycle, check loading, ensure proper water pressure (20-120 psi) and temperature (120°F/49°C), consider water softener, use fresh detergent, check spray arm clearance, do not overload, clean glass trap.
Dishes not Dry Rinse aid issues, low water temperature, improper loading, concave items not positioned correctly. Fill rinse aid, ensure 120°F (49°C) water, check loading, position cups at an angle.
Glassware/Flatware Spotted or Cloudy Hard water, low water temperature, overloading, improper loading, old detergent, empty rinse aid, incorrect detergent amount. Consider water softener, ensure 120°F (49°C) water, check loading, use fresh detergent, fill rinse aid, adjust detergent amount.
Dishware Chipped Improper loading, overloading, delicate items not protected. Load carefully, do not overload, place delicate items on top rack, secure items.
Vapor at Vent Spilled rinse aid. Wipe up spills with damp cloth.
Dishware Stained or Discolored Tea/coffee, iron deposits, high acid foods, mixing stainless steel and silver. Hand wash with bleach solution, use special filter for iron, rinse acidic foods promptly, do not mix stainless and silver.
Water in Bottom of Tub Not draining properly. See "Dishwasher Does Not Drain Properly".
Cycle Takes a Long Time Automatic temperature adjustments, Delay Start, low temperature options selected, soil-sensing cycles. Allow for automatic adjustments, check Delay Start, select appropriate options, understand soil-sensing behavior.
Etching Too much detergent, especially in soft water. Adjust detergent based on water hardness, consider lowering water temperature.
Detergent Left in Cups Old detergent, blocked spray, cycle not complete, dispenser blocked. Use fresh detergent, ensure load doesn't block spray, verify cycle completion, ensure dispenser can open.
Dishwasher Leaks Door gasket issue, spilled rinse aid, unit not level, oversudsing. Check door gasket, clean rinse aid spills, ensure unit is level, use correct detergent amount.
Dishwasher Won't Run Circuit breaker/fuse, water supply off, cycle not set, Delay Start active, door not closed/latched, START/CANCEL not pressed. Check breaker/fuse, turn on water, set cycle correctly, cancel Delay Start if needed, close/latch door, press START/CANCEL.
Dishwasher Won't Fill Water supply off, overfill protector issue. Turn on water supply, check overfill protector function.
Dishwasher Does Not Drain Properly Food disposer issue, blocked drain hose, cycle not complete, clogged glass trap. Ensure disposer is empty, remove knockout plug, check for kinks, ensure cycle completion, clean glass trap.
Dishwasher has an Odor Soiled dishes left too long, new installation. Use Rinse Only cycle, new smell is normal.
Stains on Tub Interior Tomato-based soil. Pre-rinse or use Rinse Only cycle, use no heat dry option.
