One year limited warranty covering defective materials or workmanship.
| Problem | Possible Cause & Solution |
| Food Soils Left on Dishes | Choose a longer cycle. Check rack loading. Ensure proper water pressure (20-120 psi). Check incoming water temp (min 120°F). Check water hardness; consider a water softener. Use fresh detergent. Ensure items aren't blocking spray arms. |
| Dishes not Dry | Select heat dry option. Ensure rinse aid dispenser is filled. Increase rinse aid setting. Check incoming water temp (min 120°F). Check loading; avoid nesting items. Plastic items may need towel drying. Tilt cups with concave bottoms. |
| Glassware/Flatware Spotted or Cloudy | Check water hardness; consider a water softener. Water temp may be low. Avoid overloading/improper loading. Use fresh detergent. Ensure rinse aid dispenser is filled. |
| Dishware Chipped | Load with care; do not overload. Place delicate items in top rack. Secure glasses. Ensure items don't jar loose. Tall glasses should clear tub top. Hand wash fine antique china/crystal. |
| Dishware Stained or Discolored | For tea/coffee stains, wash with 1/2 cup bleach and 1 qt warm water. Iron deposits cause yellow/brown film; use a filter. Aluminum utensils can leave marks; load properly. High acid foods can cause discoloration; pre-rinse or use Rinse Only cycle. Avoid mixing stainless steel and silver. |
| Etching | Too much detergent, especially in soft water, can cause permanent damage. Adjust detergent based on water hardness. Lower water temp by selecting Normal Cycle. |
| Detergent Left in Cups | Detergent may be old; use fresh detergent. |
| Dishwasher Leaks | Ensure proper load doesn't block detergent cup. Check if cycle is complete. Ensure items don't block dispenser opening. Use only fresh, automatic dishwasher detergent; measure carefully; try a different brand. |
| Vapor at Vent | Water vapor escaping during drying is normal. Spilled rinse aid can cause foam/overflowing; wipe spills. Ensure dishwasher is level. |
| Normal Sounds You Will Hear | Water fill, circulation, motor sounds are normal. Sound changes occur when switching between spray arms. Pauses between wash actions are normal. |
| Water in Bottom of Tub | Water remaining after cycle completion indicates a draining problem. (See Dishwasher Does Not Drain Properly.) |
| Dishwasher Won't Run | Check circuit breaker/fuse. Ensure water supply is on. Check cycle settings. Check for delay start option. Ensure door is closed and latched. |
| Dishwasher Won't Fill | Ensure water supply is on. Check overfill protector for free movement. |
| Dishwasher Does Not Drain Properly | If connected to food waste disposer, ensure it is empty. Check for removed knockout plug in disposer inlet. Check for kinked drain hose. Ensure cycle is complete, not paused. |
| Cycle Takes a Long Time | Check for water heating delay, delay start option, or sanitize option. |
| Dishwasher Has an Odor | Soiled dishes left too long can cause odor; use Rinse Only cycle. A new unit may have a "new" smell. Check if unit is draining properly. |
| Stains on Tub Interior | Tomato-based soils can cause pink/orange appearance; will fade. Pre-rinsing or Rinse Only cycle can help. No heat dry option can lessen staining. |
| Removing Spots and Film | Load clean dishes (no metal/silverware). Do not add detergent. Select NORMAL WASH cycle, close door, press START/CANCEL. Run for ~10 mins until second water fill. Pour 2 cups white vinegar into bottom. Close door, allow cycle to finish. |
