Warranty Information

One year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for parts and labor.

Oven Operation:

  • Baking: Set desired temperature (170°F to 500°F) and time. Powerplus Preheat is available for faster preheating.
  • Broiling: Select broil feature and temperature. Ensure meat is at the correct distance from the element.
  • Convection: Use "Convect Convert" to change standard bake recipes to convection.
  • Special Features: Timed bake, delayed start, minute timer, keep warm drawer, self-cleaning are available.

Cooktop Operation:

  • Induction Zones: Control zones using "on-off" and power level pads (Pb, Hi, Med, Lo).
  • Pan Sensing: Ensure cookware is magnetic, flat-bottomed, and correctly sized.
  • Power Sharing: Two zones share power; be mindful of settings when using simultaneously.
  • Safety: "HE" (Hot Element) message indicates residual heat.

Cleaning:

  • Refer to the "Care & Cleaning" section for specific instructions on cleaning the cooktop, oven interior, racks, and exterior.
  • Self-cleaning cycle requires specific preparation and caution.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Poor baking results. Ensure proper oven rack position, center food, space pans, preheat oven, and adjust recipe temperature/time.
Appliance is not level. Ensure floor is level, strong, and stable. Adjust leveling legs. Check cabinet alignment.
Cannot move appliance easily. Cabinets may be too tight or not square. Contact builder/installer. Carpet may interfere.
Surface cookware seems too hot or not hot enough. Adjust induction cooktop power level. Ensure correct surface control is activated. Use correct magnetic cookware. Check pan-sensing. Use heavier gauge cookware.
Induction cooking zone does not heat cookware or does not heat evenly. Ensure correct surface control is activated. Use correct magnetic cookware. Check pan-sensing. Use quality heavier gauge cookware.
Cooking zones do not glow when heating. Induction zones do not glow; heat is induced directly to cookware.
Entire appliance does not operate. Set time of day. Ensure cord/plug is connected. Check for power outage. Check wiring. Ensure oven controls are set properly.
Oven portion of appliance does not operate. Ensure oven controls are set properly. See "Setting Oven Controls".
Oven light does not work. Ensure light is secure. See "Changing & replacing the oven light".
Oven smokes excessively during broiling. Check broiling settings, oven door position, distance of meat to element, meat preparation, and broiler pan placement. Regular cleaning is needed.
Flames inside oven or smoking from oven vent. Wipe up excessive spillovers before starting. See "Broiling" section for flames/smoke.
Oven control beeps & displays any F or E error code message. Press CANCEL, try feature again. If E/F code repeats, remove power for 5 min, then repower. Record code and call for service if fault recurs.
Self-cleaning cycle does not work. Ensure oven control is set properly. Follow "Self-cleaning" instructions.
Soil not completely removed after running self-cleaning cycle. Ensure cycle was not interrupted. Remove excessive spillovers. Clean areas not in self-cleaning zone before starting cycle.
Convection fan does not rotate. Oven door is open. Close oven door.
Scratches or abrasions on cooktop surface. Ensure cooktop and utensil bottoms are clean. Use appropriate cleaning materials. Use smooth, flat-bottomed cookware.
Metal marks on the cooktop. Do not slide metal utensils. Use ceramic-glass cooktop cleaning creme.
Brown streaks or specks on cooktop surface. Boilovers cooked onto surface. Use razor blade scraper. See "Cooktop cleaning and maintenance".
Areas of discoloration with metallic sheen on cooktop surface. Mineral deposits from water/food. Use ceramic-glass cooktop cleaning creme. Use clean, dry-bottomed cookware.
