Operating Your Washer
- Sort Laundry: Separate whites, lights, darks, lint-shedding from lint-attracting items, heavily soiled from lightly soiled, and delicate from durable items.
- Prepare Items: Empty pockets, brush off dirt, close zippers, tie sashes, mend tears, and turn knits inside out. Place delicates in a mesh bag.
- Pretreat Stains: Use the Stain Removal Guide for effective treatment.
- Add Laundry: Combine large and small items, but don't overstuff. Load large items first.
- Add Detergent: Use low-sudsing, high-efficiency detergent. Add liquid bleach or fabric softener to designated compartments.
- Select Cycle and Settings: Choose the appropriate cycle, temperature, spin speed, and soil level.
- Start Washer: Close the door and press Start. The door locks automatically.
- Touch Pause to Add Garment: Press Pause to add forgotten items.
