The Fujica ST-801 uses a 6V silver battery for power supply due to its higher current consumption compared to conventional cameras. The photocell used is a silicon photocell, with its characteristics being the same as in the ST701 but utilized differently to allow for both Full Aperture and Stopped-down Aperture Meterings. The camera employs FET circuits which act as impedance transducers, converting the high impedance photocell circuit to a low impedance one. The system includes compressor circuits for shutter and aperture resistors, and an amplifier circuit to process signals for the LED display. A comparator IC selects and lights LEDs in response to input voltage, with adjustments based on a standard voltage of 3V.
