Securely attach the strap to the camera's eyelets for safe handling. Pass the lens cap's string through the eyelet and attach it to the strap to prevent loss.
The camera uses four AA batteries (alkaline, lithium, or Ni-MH). Ensure correct orientation. Never mix battery types or use damaged batteries. For optimal performance, Ni-MH batteries are recommended, especially in cold temperatures. If using different battery types, update the camera's settings accordingly.
Use the ON/OFF switch to turn the camera on and off.
Select shooting modes like AUTO, Adv. ADVANCED, SP (Scene Position), P, S, A, M (for full control), C (Custom), and PANORAMA (Motion Panorama) by aligning the icon with the mark.
