Memory Cards
Pictures can be stored in the camera's internal memory or on optional SD and SDHC memory cards. In this manual, SD memory cards are referred to as "memory cards." For more information, see page 8.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| CARD ERROR | The memory card is not formatted for use in the camera. | Format the memory card (pg. 81). |
| The memory card contacts require cleaning or the memory card is damaged. | Clean the contacts with a soft, dry cloth. If the message is repeated, format the memory card (pg. 81). If the message persists, replace the memory card. | |
| Incompatible memory card. | Use a compatible memory card. | |
