- Turning the Camera on in Playback Mode: When the camera is off, playback can be started by pressing the Playback button for about a second.
- Taking Pictures During Playback: To return instantly to shooting mode, press the shutter button halfway.
- Silent Mode: Press and hold the DISP/BACK button to disable camera lights and sounds.
- Deleting Pictures: Press the selector up to display deletion options.
- Inserting Battery & Memory Card: Ensure the camera is off, open the battery-chamber cover, insert the battery by aligning the orange stripe with the latch, and then slide the memory card into its slot until it clicks. Close the cover.
