Warranty Information
FUJIFILM warrants the media to be free from defects for ninety (90) days from the date of receipt.
Attaching the Strap: Loop the strap over your wrist and secure it by sliding the fastener.
Loading the Batteries: Open the battery cover, insert AA batteries (LR6) or rechargeable batteries according to polarity, and close the cover.
Loading the xD-Picture Card: Open the battery compartment, insert the xD-Picture Card with the gold contact area facing the slot, and close the compartment.
Turning On and Off: Press the POWER button fully to turn the camera on or off in Photography mode. In Playback mode, press the PLAY button for about 1 second to turn on, and press POWER to turn off.
Setting the Date and Time: After turning on the camera, a "DATE/TIME NOT SET" message appears. Press MENU/OK to set the date and time using the directional buttons and OK SET.
Troubleshooting and error codes
