Quick Start Guide for KVM s2-0411

1. Connecting power to the switch: Power down all servers. Connect the switch's power cord to the switch and then to an AC outlet.

2. Connecting the local port: Connect your VGA monitor, PS/2 keyboard, and mouse to the switch.

3. Connecting a KVM-IA adapter: Plug one end of a CAT 5 cable into a numbered port on the switch and the other end into a KVM-IA adapter.

4. Connecting a server to a KVM-IA adapter: Connect the KVM-IA adapter to the server's appropriate ports. Repeat for all servers.

5. Connecting network and remote users: Connect a CAT 5 cable from your Ethernet network to the switch's LAN connector.

6. Powering up targets and switch: Power up each target server, then power up the switch.
