The monitor offers a range of features including TFT display, ergonomic characteristics, high brightness and contrast, high resolution (1920 x 1200), 16.7 million colors, automatic scanning, digital screen controller, VESA-DDC compatibility, Plug&Play, digital video inputs (DVI and HDMI) with HDCP, power management, and compliance with TCO '03 and GS requirements.

Getting started

Unpack the device carefully, check for damage, and verify contents against the delivery note. Set up the device in a well-ventilated area. For an ergonomic workstation, position the monitor opposite a window, away from direct light sources, and at an appropriate viewing distance (approx. 50 cm). Adjust height and inclination as needed. Connect the monitor to the computer using the supplied data cables (D-SUB, DVI-D) and power cable.

Operation

Switch the device on and off using the ON/OFF switch. Adjust monitor settings via the OSD menu, including brightness, contrast, image adjustments, colour temperature, and various functions like input selection and language. The monitor also supports power management to reduce energy consumption.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Having this problem? Check the following points:
No screen display
Power indicator does not light up
Check whether changing the 0W switch on the rear to setting 1 cures the problem.
Check whether the power cable on the monitor is connected correctly.
No screen display
Power indicator is lit
Check whether the computer is switched on.
Check whether the data cable for the monitor is correctly attached to the monitor port on the computer.
Press any key on the computer keyboard. The computer may be in power saving mode.
Alter the brightness and/or contrast until you get a picture.
Message: No Signal Check whether the data cable for the monitor is correctly attached to the monitor port on the computer.
Check whether the computer is switched on.

Please change the display mode
to 1920 x 1200 with 60 Hz
The input signal (horizontal frequency and refresh rate) at the displayed input does not correspond to the technical data for the monitor.
Adjust the video frequency range using the computer software (see documentation for the computer or display adapter).
Set a different screen resolution using the computer software (see documentation for the computer or display adapter).
Picture position not correct The monitor recognises an undefined mode (see chapter "Technical specification", Page 26).
Press the EXIT / AUTO button to perform auto-adjustment of the screen.
Picture is shaking Check whether the data cable for the monitor is correctly attached to the monitor port on the computer.
Press the EXIT / AUTO button to perform auto-adjustment of the screen.
Picture is wrongly adjusted Press the SELECT / MENU button to activate the Factory Recall function. The Auto Processing message appears.
Picture disturbances (vertical lines) Press the EXIT / AUTO button to perform auto-adjustment of the screen.
Picture disturbances (horizontal lines, picture noise) Press the EXIT / AUTO button to perform auto-adjustment of the screen.
The screen becomes darker The background lighting has a limited lifetime. If your monitor display should become too dark, the background lighting will have to be replaced.
