Quick Reference is for experienced users who need to refresh their memory. It covers everyday operations like paper handling and font selection in normal mode. The printer starts in normal mode. To enter setup mode, press TEAR OFF and ONLINE simultaneously when the ONLINE indicator is off.
Normal mode operations include clearing the print buffer, ejecting single sheets, loading paper, performing self-tests, and managing continuous forms. Specific button combinations are required for each operation, such as pressing MENU and TEAR OFF to clear the buffer, or LOAD to load paper. The printer can be placed online or offline using the ONLINE button. Resetting power-on defaults involves turning the printer off and then on. Resume printing after paper end is done by pressing ONLINE.
