Viewing Wireless Camera Video
Before viewing, install camera, transmitter, and receiver cable. To show video:
- If transmitter connected to reverse lamp: put vehicle in reverse.
- If transmitter connected to steady 12V source: select on the device.
To resume normal operation:
- If transmitter connected to reverse lamp: take vehicle out of reverse.
- If transmitter connected to steady 12V source: select on the device.
Aligning Guidance Lines
Guidance lines provide an approximate visual representation of the vehicle's path in reverse. Align lines for each camera to match the outside edges of your vehicle.
1. Position vehicle aligned to a curb, driveway, or parking stall lines.
2. Navigate to Settings > Backup Camera > Adjust Guidance Lines.
3. Use arrows to move lines to match reference points.
4. Red section of lines should align with the rear of your vehicle.
5. Reposition vehicle if needed and repeat alignment.
6. Select to complete alignment.
Showing or Hiding Guidance Lines
From camera view, select > Guidance Lines. Select or clear the 'Show Guidance Lines' checkbox.
Restoring Alignment
Reset lines to default: Settings > Backup Camera > Select camera > Guidance Lines > Restore.
Switching Cameras
Cycle through feeds from paired cameras by selecting from the camera view. Order can be changed in Settings > Backup Camera > Select camera > Set Default Camera.
Renaming a Camera
Change camera name: Settings > Backup Camera > Select camera > Rename.
Removing a Paired Camera
To pair a new camera after reaching the limit of four, remove an existing one: Settings > Backup Camera > Select camera > Unpair.
Pairing a Transmitter with the Receiver Cable
If packaged together, they are pre-paired. If not receiving video, manually pair:
1. Place vehicle in park.
2. Turn off steady power to transmitter.
3. Turn on GPS device.
4. Navigate to Settings > Backup Camera > Add New Camera and follow on-screen instructions.
