Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
My camera feels warm while it is operating. Garmin cameras are designed for automotive use and can safely operate even if they feel warm or hot. Always follow device use and care instructions.
My memory card has degraded and needs to be replaced. Periodically format the memory card (at least every six months) to extend its life. If an error occurs, try formatting the card first, then replace it if necessary. Use high-capacity, high-quality cards (Class 10 or higher).
My video recordings are blurry. Clean the camera lens and the windshield in front of the camera. Ensure the area is clear of wipers.
My video recordings are choppy or incomplete. Use a high-quality memory card (Class 10 or higher). Try viewing videos in an area with less wireless interference or transfer them. Format the memory card after transferring important recordings. Update device software.
