Warranty Information

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in Australia and New Zealand for 24 months from the purchase date.

Using Your Cooktop

Safety First: Avoid spraying aerosols near the appliance when it's on. Ensure good ventilation, especially in confined spaces. Never use the cooktop as a space heater.

Controls: Each knob controls a specific burner. Refer to the control panel markings and Figure 2 for burner identification and settings (HI, LOW, OFF).

Lighting Burners: Use electronic ignition by depressing and turning the knob to HIGH. If using a push-button ignition model, press the ignition button while turning the knob. If a burner doesn't light within 5 seconds, turn it off, wait for gas to disperse, then try again. Manual ignition with a handheld source is an option if electrical power is out. Always keep hands clear when lighting.

Burner Operation: Operate burners only between 'HIGH' and 'LOW' settings.

Hotplates: Choose the appropriate hotplate size for your cooking needs (small for simmering, medium for normal, large for fast heating, wok burner for woks/large pots).

Pots and Pans: Use common pot materials like aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and ceramic. Ensure pots are steady with flat bases. Avoid boiling food too rapidly to save energy.

Utensils: Use appropriately sized utensils for each burner. Never use asbestos mats, wire mats, grids, or aluminum foil, as this can cause damage and void the warranty. Woks should only be used on the wok burner with a wok support trivet.
