GETTING READY

  • Unpacking: Verify all items are present and undamaged. Accessories may vary by model.
  • Charging the battery (except A Series): Place battery in charger, connect cable to charger and wall outlet. Charge until green light appears. First charge should be at least 4 hours.
  • Inserting the battery (A Series): Open compartment, insert battery observing polarity, press down stopper. Close compartment.
  • Inserting the battery (E Series / J Series): Open compartment, insert battery observing polarity, press down stopper. Close compartment.
  • Inserting an optional SD/SDHC card: Open battery compartment, insert card into memory card slot. SD/SDHC cards are not included.

BASIC OPERATION

  • Turning on and off: Press the power button.
