Step 1. Charging the battery
Allow the battery to charge until the green light illuminates. For maximum battery life, the first charge should be at least 4 hours.
Step 2. Inserting the battery
Insert the battery into the camera.
Step 3. Setting the language
Press the Power button to turn on the camera. Use the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to select a language and press Func/OK to confirm.
Step 4. Setting the time and date
Use the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to set the current date and time, then press Func/OK to confirm.
Step 5. Using the mode dial
Switch the mode dial to Auto mode.
Step 6. Taking a picture
Hold the camera securely. Lightly press the shutter button halfway to focus, then press fully to take the picture.
Step 7. Viewing your picture
Switch the mode dial to playback mode. Use the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to browse through your photos.
Step 8. Deleting a picture
Press Delete to delete the current picture. Press the Up button to select "Yes" and press Func/OK to confirm deletion.
