Step 1: Unpacking
Check package contents: camera, battery, charger, USB cable, CD-ROM, warranty card.
Contact vendor if anything is missing or damaged.

Step 2: Inserting the battery
Slide open the battery cover, insert the battery correctly, and close the cover securely.

Step 3: Setting the language
Turn on the camera. Use the directional buttons to select a language from the menu and press OK to confirm.

Step 4: Setting the time and date
Use the directional buttons to set the date and time, and press OK to confirm.

Step 5: Using the Mode Button
Press Left/Right buttons to cycle through modes (Auto, Manual, Panorama, Portrait, ASCN, Scene, Movie) and press OK to confirm.

Step 6: Taking a picture
Hold the camera steady. Lightly press the shutter button to focus, then press fully to take the picture. Use the zoom wheel to zoom in/out.

Step 7: Viewing your picture
Press the Playback button. Use Left/Right buttons to browse through photos.

Step 8: Deleting a picture
Press the delete button to delete the current picture.
