Step 1: Charging the battery

Allow the battery to charge until the green light illuminates. For optimal battery life, the initial charge should be at least 4 hours.

Step 2: Inserting the battery

Insert the battery into the camera.

Step 3: Control touch panel

Use your finger gently on the LCD screen. Do not use sharp objects or excessive force.

Step 4: Time and language setup

Turn on the camera, select your language from the menu, and set the date and time.

Step 5: Shooting in Auto mode

Touch the Auto mode icon, compose your shot, press the shutter button halfway to focus, and then fully to capture the image.

Step 6: Viewing your picture

Press the Playback button. Swipe left or right on the LCD to browse through pictures.

Step 7: Deleting a picture

In Playback mode, select the picture, then touch the delete icon and confirm deletion.

Step 8: LCD Screen display

Familiarize yourself with the various icons and indicators shown on the LCD screen during shooting and playback.
