Preparation: Ensure the battery is charged and a memory card is inserted. Charge the battery using the included AC adapter or by connecting the camera to a computer via USB cable. Insert the battery and memory card as indicated. Turn on the camera by pressing the power button.
Initial Setup: Upon first powering on the camera, you will be prompted to set the language and date/time. Use the navigation buttons to select options and the SET button to confirm.
