Getting Started

  • Unpacking: Check camera box contents against the provided list.
  • Installing Accessories: Attach shoulder strap and lens cap.
  • Camera Views: Familiarize yourself with front, back, left, right, top, and bottom views of the camera, identifying key buttons and components.
  • Inserting Battery and Card: Open the battery compartment, insert AA batteries following polarity, and insert SD/SDHC card. Close compartment.
  • Turning Camera On/Off: Push the ON/OFF button. After powering on, set the camera to Auto mode.
  • Setting Language and Date/Time: On first use, set display language and date/time via the setup menus.

Basic Operation

  • Shooting in Auto Mode: Turn on camera, set to Auto, compose image, press shutter halfway to focus, then fully to capture.
  • Using the Zoom Function: Use the Zoom Wheel for optical and digital zoom.

Too many movies to process• The number of pictures or binders in the SD memory card exceed the specifications, so the playback of data folder can not be displayed.• Delete unwanted files.
